Two very poor signings by Dan O’Dowd last year: Jose Lopez and Ty Wigginton. Lopez was gone before the All-Star break and Wigginton has left the city, too.
Now we can just hope O’Dowd doesn’t pull this trigger.

And there are reports that O’Dowd plans on offering Stewart a contract for 2012. Probably won’t be a big one…and Stewart can take it to arbitration…but he would have to be nuts to do that after batting .158 in 2011.
