We did better pre-O'Dowd, getting Jake Westbrook and Jamey Wright, but awful since. Sure, Rutledge, Arenado, and Rosario have bright futures, but you have no idea when those futures become the present. That's like sitting at a blackjack table, continuing to lose money, but refusing to leave because "I know the next hand is going to be a good one." There has to be a balance between strategic and tactical thinking. Rosario is 4 for 40 (.100) for May. Fowler is 3 for 34 (.088) since his "minor" hip injury. Two weeks is enough time (maybe too much) to simply sit pat and say "well, they'll come out of it." Wait long enough and it won't matter. Like I said - when Rosario starts hitting again or Helton stops driving in runs, then they should make a change.
